"Damiao Meow" guides visitors through a series of fun, interactive games to discover the history and stories of the Sacred King Kaizhang and other deities. During the game, you can check in, take photos, and collect digital safety amulets. Furthermore, the "Damiao Meow" character extends beyond the venue, allowing visitors to interact and take photos anytime, anywhere. Simply scan the QR code to start the experience immediately. “Taiwu ON AIR”｜Curatorial Statement for the 2026 Taiwu Art Festival

Taiwu New Village Cultural Park has never been simply a piece of history preserved in time. It is a cultural community that continues to evolve and unfold.

The 2026 Taiwu Art Festival, themed “Taiwu ON AIR,” imagines Taiwu as a cultural channel that is always broadcasting where history, art, everyday life, and local memories continually shift, intersect, and take on new forms across the village. From the newly opened 823 Artillery Bombardment Story Museum, and the annual exhibition “Echoes of Time,” to artist residencies, local collaborations, the Taiwu Art Market, and a diverse range of public programs, every exhibition and every encounter becomes part of what Taiwu is broadcasting.

ON AIR means more than simply “now broadcasting.” It represents Taiwu as a place that continues to happen, continues to create, and continues to grow into something new together with everyone who takes part.

Discover Same but Different through our Weekend Guided Tours in Mandarin. Led by our docents, the tour introduces the exhibition and the stories behind selected artworks. Tours are available every Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 and 15:00, and at 15:00 on the first Friday of each month. No reservation required.

Through a deep "hands-off / un-handy" experiential exercise, children will discover how certain needs can be overlooked in design. This workshop invites parents and kids to creatively modify everyday stationery using clay. By designing together, kids learn to be considerate of others. We hope to plant a seed of "Universal Design" in their hearts, letting empathy and inclusion bloom as they grow!

In collaboration with the AI Quiet Taoyuan Project, this workshop introduces how Taoyuan utilizes sound sensing and AI recognition technology to swiftly pinpoint noise sources, thereby enhancing the city's environmental quality and living comfort.

"Disaster Prevention Detective Mission"
Integrating concepts from AI Environmental Pollution Recognition and Environmental Risk Early Warning, this activity helps parents and children understand how the city manages risks through image recognition, environmental monitoring, and anomaly alerts.
