" NEO PHASE" represents the continuous evolution of industry. Through the IDDI program initiated by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, businesses are encouraged to reassess their needs, connect with new resources, and move beyond conventional frameworks—turning every step of change into an opportunity to shape what comes next. Rather than presenting final outcomes, this exhibition invites you to discover how design creates momentum for transformation through an ongoing process of exploration, experimentation, and practice.
Since 2023, the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, has commissioned the Taiwan Design Research Institute to implement the Industry-Driven Design Innovation (IDDI) program, supporting Taiwanese industries in transforming and upgrading through design. The program focuses on three core objectives—Enhancing Added Value, Cross-disciplinary Co-creation and Upgrading, and Business Model Innovation—and responds to the evolving needs of industries by advancing six key areas of innovation: Circularity & Sustainability, Digital Technology, Organizational Transformation, User Insights, Business Models, and Brand Strategy, creating diverse forms of value for industries.
